How To Use The Adjusta-Watt Retro LED

Optimal Setup for 1m x 1m Grow Space

The Adjusta-Watt Retro is ideal for a 1m x 1m grow space, especially in tents due to its low profile. For single light setups, pairing it with a BudBox Pro Large Tent is recommended. For slightly larger coverage (1.2m x 1.2m), consider using the BudBox Pro XL or BudBox Pro XL HL Tent.

Light Placement for Established Plants

For mature plants, the Retro LED can be hung at a distance of around 15cm from the canopy in a 1m x 1m space. In a 1.2m x 1.2m area, a distance of 30cm is best. The unit should be run at 75-100% power for established plants to ensure optimal light intensity.

Adjusting Power for Younger Plants

For younger plants, start with 25-50% power and position the light 30-50cm from the canopy. Gradually increase power and lower the light based on plant response over a few days, ensuring proper growth conditions.

Propagation and Young Plant Setup

For propagation or very young plants, set the Retro LED to 25% power and position it 50-80cm from the canopy. This gentle setup helps avoid stressing young plants while promoting healthy development.
