Plant Magic have launched their new 9L Coco Brick, a compact coco substrate brick designed for easy storage and transportation. They are also incredibly easy to activate – simply add water and watch as the brick rapidly expands into 9 litres of nutrient-rich, ready-to-use substrate.
The natural contents of Plant Magic Coco Bricks are fine-tuned to give outstanding plant growth and high yields. The Plant Magic Coco Bricks are made from dehydrated coco substrate sourced from India’s leading producer of premium grade coir. Unlike many other coco substrates, this coir is treated with a calcium-magnesium solution to remove excess salts, lowering its EC. Plant Magic Coco Bricks are free from pathogens, odours, roots, and other impurities often found in coco media.
Unlike other coco substrates, Plant Magic Coco Bricks are not heat treated, therefore allowing beneficial fungi to thrive. Known as Trichoderma, this fungal species occurs naturally in all media and has a symbiotic relationship with your plants. Trichoderma colonise the root zone, keeping pathogens at bay with decaying enzymes and outcompeting them for space and nutrients.
